This business training programme is designed for aspiring dairy producers
This business training programme is designed for aspiring dairy producers and organised by the RABDF in collaboration with The Andersons Centre, AHDB Dairy, and the NFU. The course has seen over 450 applicants complete it from a variety of industry backgrounds. It provides hands-on commercial experience and training in:
• People development
• Financial skills
• Business management
• Taxation
• Business structures, including partnerships, joint ventures, and tenancies
Applications are now open for the 2026 programme, which starts in late September. It is open to anyone involved in, or looking to be involved in, the dairy industry. Please note there is limited spaces per co-hort and applicants should 20 years old or over.

2026 Dates & Details
Participants should apply for the course based on their location
First session (for all): 22nd & 23rd September - West Retford Hotel, Nottingham DN22 7XG
Midlands/North: 6th & 7th October, 20th & 21st October, 17th & 18th November
South: 13th & 14th October, 3rd & 4th November, 17th & 18th November
27th - 28th October: Optional ‘Bonus session’ - Dairy Horizons by kind invitation of The Trehane Trust
Final session (for all): 25th & 26th November - NFU, Stoneleigh Park
Cost: £610+VAT per person which will be invoiced on confirmation of an allocated place on the programme.

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) has launched a dedicated Entrepreneurs Club to bring together former participants of its long-running Entrepreneurs in Dairy (EiD) programme and support ongoing development across the dairy sector.
Building on the success of the programme, the club creates a network for former course delegates to share knowledge, develop leadership and governance skills, and learn from industry experience.
Together, members build valuable connections that support career progression, business growth and excellence across the dairy sector.
