Farmers Weekly will work with three farms around the UK that are currently running their cattle rearing enterprises to exemplary standards. These farms and farmers will each host a best-practice workshop focusing on different aspects of calf rearing systems to represent the diversity of management techniques seen across the country.

Attendees at these workshops will have the chance to learn from the host farmers, leading experts in the fields of cattle, health, nutrition, as well as experienced veterinary surgeons and disease management.

There will also be the opportunity to discuss important issues facing you as a cattle rearer with these experts and your peers.

The 2018 workshops will focus on:

•  Calf feeding in first weeks of life
•  Weaning
•  Colostrum management
•  Disease & vaccination
