2015 NMR/RABDF Gold Cup winner Neil Baker from Haselbury Plucknett in Somerset updates us on the work that needs to be done before the Gold Cup Open Day on May 25th.

Andrew Harrison, a final year student studying BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Animal Science at Harper Adams University (HAU) is the RABDF MSD Animal Health Dairy Student of the Year. He was presented with a £2,000 cash prize by MSD Animal Health and the university he represented received £1,000 towards a dairying educational project.

London, 9th March 2016 - Dairy UK and the RABDF welcomed today a new report published by the Dairy All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) which calls for dairy to be put back on the ‘daily menu’.

John Alvis has been presented with the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers’ Princess Royal Award by Her Royal Highness at Buckingham Palace on Thursday 3 March. The honour was made for his outstanding services to the UK dairy industry.

John Beckett’s contribution to the industry and his extensive knowledge, wisdom and advice over a career spanning more than 50 years have helped to shape many of today’s agri-businesses. He was a highly respected director of Belton Cheese, his family’s Shropshire based award winning cheese making business and had recently retired as company chairman.

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has appealed to AHDB Dairy to take a leaf out of other sector books, revise its proposed three year Business Plan and from immediate effect introduce activities designed to enable levy payers to survive the global down turn.
