The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) is a membership organisation representing the interests of UK dairy farmers and through its trading subsidiary RABDF Events Ltd, organises the Livestock Event.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Membership & Training Coordinator to provide maternity cover for the present incumbent for 12 months from October 2015.
Responsibilities will include administration and promotion of membership, organisation of training courses, conferences, technical seminars including sponsorship, administration of awards, production of newsletters, maintenance of websites and promotion of the association and events on social media.
Working in a small team based near Kenilworth, Warwickshire the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, have experience working in agriculture and / or empathy with dairy farming and will be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, PP, survey software, editing websites, using social media and databases.
Applicants should be a team player, meticulous, highly organised and able to work unsupervised. Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday however some additional hours may be required during event periods.
