The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has appointed Matt Knight as managing director with responsibility for commercial operations. Tim Brigstocke continues as the Association’s policy director.
Mr Knight joined RABDF three years ago as event director to manage the Association’s portfolio of farming events to which Saltex, the UK’s national event for grounds care, amenities and estates management, was introduced last year.
RABDF chairman, Mike King commented: “We are delighted to appoint Matt to the new position following Nick Everington’s retirement last month as RABDF chief executive. He is already familiar with the industry and has demonstrated the necessary leadership skills to enhance the team. Furthermore, RABDF Council believes that Matt and Tim’s skills are a winning combination to take forward the organisation working for all British dairy farmers."
