The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers response to Brexit

RABDF has pledged to be at the forefront of helping to develop future policy with Government for all dairy farmers. We believe that the industry needs some very clear and unequivocal input to future UK agriculture, food and environmental requirements going forward, and because of the time it takes to implement policy, then we plan to begin discussions at the earliest. Furthermore, it is highly appropriate that RABDF’s newly appointed president, Lord Curry of Kirkharle with his wealth of expertise and contacts will be able to help us towards developing a positive, sustainable industry.

However, our first task will be appeal to Government to introduce clarity as soon as possible of the future support mechanisms available for agriculture and rural developments.
