Have you booked your ticket for the Women in Dairy conference, to be staged at Sixways Stadium, Worcester on Wednesday 28 September? Resilience in Adversity is the conference theme and a high profile line up of speakers will be sharing some of their solutions to managing the raft of challenges within the sector.
They include AHDB chief executive, Jane King; Barclays national agricultural strategy director, Oliver McEntyre; livestock sustainability specialist, Judith Capper; Saviour Associates’ Heather Wildman; AHDB Dairy strategy director, Amanda Ball and Muller Milk and Ingredients’ agricultural director, Lyndsay Chapman. The conference will be chaired by award winning dairy farmer, Di Wastenage.
“Tickets are selling fast for this event which will offer delegates the opportunity to connect, share and inspire,” explains the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers’ Victoria Chomiak. “They will be able to exchange knowledge and experiences, widen their horizons, generate new ideas, develop skills, confidence, innovative thinking and hard core resilience.” She adds: “We believe this conference will help all attendees with their individual farm businesses and together create a vision for the future of British dairying after a very lengthy period of adversity within the dairy sector.”
Women in Dairy is the national platform for networking and knowledge transfer which has expanded to 18 groups located throughout the country, after its official launch just over 12 months ago by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers and Promar International a Genus plc company, with support from AHDB Dairy.
