There are only three weeks to go until Down to Earth at Grosvenor Farms in Cheshire on 3rd July, and what an event it is shaping up to be.
Our top regenerative agriculture event for livestock producers is jam-packed with presentations, practical talk stations, and farm tours of this renowned, high-yielding Holstein herd.
Following feedback from previous years, we now have the main stage sessions running in the morning and afternoon and talk stations repeating throughout the afternoon. This will give visitors plenty of time to listen to all the sessions, tour the farm, view the vast array of trade stands, and, importantly, catch up with some friendly faces.
This year, we're excited to feature a talk about the revolutionary feed additive Bovaer. This additive has been scientifically proven to reduce methane emissions from cows. Attendees will gain practical insights on its usage and the potential financial benefits it offers.
We also have a dedicated session on the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI). With the 2024 SFI scheme set to fully open in July, our expert will be on hand to answer questions and outline some of the changes to the 2024 offering.
Our three tour stations—soil biology, renewable energy, genetic selection/ nutrition— will repeat at 11:30, 1pm., and 2:30pm, meaning visitors will have a chance to attend all three.
As an RABDF member, don't forget that access to Down to Earth is free to attend. For full details on the event and how to access your free ticket, visit projectdowntoearth.co.uk
I look forward to seeing you next month.
Best wishes,
Robert
