The Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) is located in the heart of west Wales and has a long history of providing education in the fields of Agriculture and Animal Science. All of the Foundation degree (FDSc) and Degree (BSc) schemes availble provide the opportunity to study livestock production systems with a strong focus on the dairy industry including dairy herd health and management.

The combination of excellent teaching, commercial farming and technical transfer has led to Gelli Aur being recognised as the Centre of Excellence for landbased studies in Wales.
