The Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) is located in the heart of west Wales and has a long history of providing education in the fields of Agriculture and Animal Science. All of the Foundation degree (FDSc) and Degree (BSc) schemes availble provide the opportunity to study livestock production systems with a strong focus on the dairy industry including dairy herd health and management.

Operating in two diverse locations; the Vale of York and in Cumbria, the college offers courses start from Level 1 (entry Level), right through to Level 6 (BSc Hons Degree), as well as apprenticeships.

Bicton College and Duchy College operate across the whole of Devon and Cornwall, with their main campuses in East Devon and the Devon/Cornwall border respectively. With dairy herds at both colleges and the South West being home to 40% of the national dairy herd, there is a strong focus on dairy farming.

Bishop Burton College and University Centre, based in East Yorkshire, specialises in Agriculture and is one of the finest places in the country to develop the knowledge and skills you need to succeed within the dairy industry and the wider farming sector.

Bridgwater & Taunton College is an exceptionally successful provider of education offering a range qualifications across three campuses in Somerset; Taunton, Bridgwater and Cannington.

Brinsbury College in West Sussex offers a 540 acre grassland farm with a grassland based dairy herd specialising in grazing and producing milk from forage, along with modern machinery and on-farm classrooms.

Coleg Cambria Llysfasi is located in the Vale of Clwyd, near Ruthin, North Wales and delivers further education courses and apprenticeships. Llysfasi is based on a 970 acre farm and has three main enterprises; beef, sheep and dairy which includes a £1m dairy unit.

Situated in the fertile Tywi valley, three miles from Llandeilo and 14 miles from Carmarthen, the main focus at the campus is to prepare students for a range of landbased countryside studies and agricultural engineering occupations. The combination of excellent teaching, commercial farming and technical transfer has led to Gelli Aur being recognised as the Centre of Excellence for landbased studies in Wales.
