Reaseheath College is a longstanding and leading provider of land based technical and vocational education and training based on the outskirts of the historic market town of Nantwich in the heart of rural Cheshire. The college has recently invested £50 million in resources, infrastructure and student accommodation to ensure we are leading in areas of education, research, technological development and student comfort and wellbeing. All of this provides our students with opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills they need to achieve and lead industry and to learn in stunning surroundings.
The Agriculture department along with Horticulture and Countryside now form The Academy of Land and Environment and provides students with course content that incorporates environmental, conservation and sustainable production methods as well as management skills through the inclusion of Lean Management principles. The college farm boasts a high genetic merit Holstein dairy herd plus followers, a new beef enterprise, a large sheep flock and arable cropping that gives students hands on experience and management opportunities to further develop their areas of interest. Ongoing additional investment includes the installation of two Robot milking parlours and a Vertical Farming cropping system.
